We hold a birthday party for the folks at Nursing Home

Mary Windham, Mary Lou Gonzales,John Ploug,Teresa Jaurez, M. L.Dunn                 Lion's Birthday Party at the Nursing Home

.     Harry Wickersham started a golf tournament at the Lions Camp in Kerrville. The tournament carries his name. It has been a big money maker for the Camp. Lion Harry was a district governor and has held all the local offices. Lion Harry died Oct. 19, 2003.
    A Five hundred dollar gift was made to the university softball team to attend a tournament. (9-10-03).
   Lion's Halloween carnival made about $3400.00 in 2003.
  A golf tournament held (9-6-03) Al Peterick headed up the committee. About $2500.00 was made White Cane Day was held at Wal-mart (3-27-04) About $1000.00 was taken in with Wal-mart matching the amount we collected.  The Lion's established two $500.00 Scholarships, one for students to attend TAMUK and the other for second year students at TAMUK. Restrictions apply for grades.   

Mary Windham and Teresa Suarez getting ready at 6:30 AM to register the 130 bicycle riders. The Ride On the Wild side made about $2,500.00 The riders enjoyed the ride around the loop at the King Ranch Headquarters. A lot of preparation and planning went into this 2004 Ride on the Wild Side. Kathy Martinez, Carol Ann Anderson, Paul Earp, Vanessa Earp, Jim Altman, and the rest of the club. all helped.
